Dictyota Dichotoma; Cyanotype Critique

1. I see blue and white. I see extending filaments irradiating from a center, darker as they go. Small pieces with sinueux pipettes.

2. This image of Dictyota Dichotoma, a british algea was used to recod and conserve a visual imprint of the plant. This method was used, probably because of its simplicity and rapidity, since at the time, plants had to be drawn of bluerinted in some complicated manner

3. The blue of the cyanotype remids the viewer of the sea. An algae in the sea.
